The R.N.L.I. Raft Race Festival at Portrush.

Thousands of people come each year to the Portrush Raft Race. Since the Raft Race began, the general public have helped the charity by more than £450,000; this money has saved many lives at sea. Many people take the opportunity to get aboard the lifeboat, to meet members of the crew and take a closer look at the equipment and technology used to save lives at sea. The raft race is all about raising money to fund the work of the local RNLI.

North West 200 Motor Cycle Races.

We don't always appreciate what a jewel in the crown the North-West is not only for Northern Ireland but for our image right across the world. It is now one of the major sporting occasions anywhere in the British Isles . It is the biggest 'free' sporting event in Northern Ireland.

The unforgettable Northwest 200 is a unique experience of pure road racing and has been highly successfully developed into a week-long biking extravaganza which attracts bikers and road racing fans from all over the world."

The Northern Ireland MILK CUP Youth Soccer Tournament.

Teams from all over the globe come to the north coast for this established youth soccer competition. Many of the world stars of today 'cut their competitive teeth' at this world class event.
